In collaboration with major infrastructure builders, in partnership with specialized design studios, we take care of designing, setting up and starting control systems for traffic safety in road and motorway tunnels.
In order to guarantee the maximum possible traffic safety, instruments, devices and sensors are installed and managed, all connected to converge in special control structures. For those who are not experts, it is difficult to imagine how many and which equipment is involved, from real-time surveillance with intelligent cameras to the installation of ventilation and fire systems. Every single device is connected to a complex and redundant network, so as to guarantee operation even in the event of accidents, damage or fire.
To create such complex systems it is necessary to communicate objects of the most diverse nature, using consolidated and compatible transmission protocols between the different platforms and brands.
Water Lifting Systems
Pumping systems managed with plc capable of detecting the presence of water at different levels, with digital and analog instruments, are developed to optimize the management of the lifting pumps. The levels of tanks and groundwater are checked to optimize the energy consumption necessary for operation and to extend maintenance times as much as possible. Industrial and civil systems of all sizes and complexes are designed and built, also with the aid of instruments for the real-time chemical-physical analysis of wastewater.
Roadside Storage Tanks
“Draining” asphalts are deposited on the motorway sections, the water that filters does not get dispersed in the surrounding environment, but collected in special containment tanks along the entire road axis, covering hundreds of kilometers across the nation. The contents of these huge tanks are carefully managed to ensure that environmental pollution or other types of problems do not occur. Once the levels established within the tanks have been reached, they are gradually emptied by affixing to neighboring natural waterways or to specific channels. The “lung” function typical of these artificial reservoirs is designed to prevent thousands of cubic meters of water collected on the road during rainfall from spilling out of control and violently into the most critical points for circulation such as underpasses or tunnels. Advanced systems of industrial plc control these circumstances in real time and, in addition to independently operating the locally connected devices, they communicate the statuses, events and any problems that may arise to the relative control units.
